New angle of attack........

Finally taken the plunge and purchased a yak!

Maiden voyage out of Burry Port in a 7.8m tide and strong Sou Easterly wind - well happy with the kayaks performance and the fact I didn't get dunked!

Those fish are in big trouble now!

Report - CSSC v RAF match - Minehead - 17/03/14

Aboard Osprey out of Minehead, fished a 5 man team match for the CSSC against the RAF.

Species caught - Codling, LSD, Pouting, Poor Cod, Whiting, Spotted Ray.

This was my 1st ever spotted ray - have seen dozens caught previously, but not on my hook!

We won the match and I came joint 3rd on the boat - 1pt behind 2nd place. 

Other species caught - 3b rockling, thornback ray.

Report - Hobbs Point - 15/03/14

Car in the garage in Kilgetty today, so with 3/4hr to spare had a quick bash at mini's at Hobbs.  Couple of rock gobies and black gobies about - nothing else though except for 'uber active crabs!!!

Highlight if the day though was Riley reeling in his 1st ever fish (a rock goby)!  1 year and 337 days old!!  :-)

Report - Knab Rock - 05/03/14

Fished Knab Rock with Steve, and managed small codling, pout, and whiting.  Steve managed whiting and pouting.

Very quiet angler and fish wise!
