Bridging Camp

Known Species - anything can turn up!! Codling, Dogfish, Whiting, Pouting, Poor Cod, Bream, Plaice, Turbot, Ray, Conger, Pollack, Triggerfish, Red Mullet, Mackerel, Garfish, Scad, Wrasse etc.

Main venues - Abbotsbury, Wet Bexington, Bridging Camp, etc (best do a search on the internet for further info, as I could write a whole blog on Chesil!).



Most popular marks on Chesil, such as Abbotsbury, can get very busy with the 'mackerel bashers' out in force during the summer months.

Beware fishing the venue in a westerly wind - the swells can be dangerous!
